The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History will host a silent auction of birdhouses made by members of the public to benefit the Pacific Grove Heritage Society.

The birdhouses will be on display at the Museum on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6-7. The silent auction will close at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Pacific Grove Mayor Bill Kampe will be on hand to give out awards for the birdhouses.

The more than 20 birdhouses are made by members of the public with natural history museum as the theme.
