About Wings of wood: The Art of Wesley Haack

Wings of Wood is a series of 8 woodblock carvings of birds seen and photographed by the artist during his years living in Monterey. Each woodblock bird is to scale and carved by hand. The prints are printed with a Griffin Lithography Press, made and operated in Oakland, California. Each print is printed on Velin BFK Rives 100% cotton paper and painted with watercolor.
