Take a deep dive into great white sharks with Dr. Barbara Block and her team Monterey Bay White Sharks out of Hopkins University! Dr. Block has worked with filmmakers to create an incredible new short documentary that will be shown as well as discussions and insights with audience Q&A to create a memorable night. Participants will leave with new knowledge about this important species. Featured speakers will include Dr. Block, a pioneer in shark research, renowned marine biologist Dr. Dan Costa, and award-winning filmmaker Kip Evans, all of whom have a deep knowledge and fascination with great white sharks and the roles they play in their ecosystems.

We’ll be opening our doors at 5:20. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am was pushed forward by two weeks this year, so please give yourself ample time for parking and getting to the Museum before 6pm for the start of the talk.
Please note: This talk was scheduled before the tragic passing of Erica Fox. Erica was a wonderful member of our community, and we pay deep respect to her memory and legacy when discussing these animals and our marine ecosystems.
