What is Admission + Support? As a small nonprofit we do our best to create enriching events for our community, but there are costs associated with them including materials and most importantly the prep, time, and instruction by the artist we work with. When you choose to purchase your admission and add extra funds for support, it goes right back to creating these programs and paying artists what they’re worth.
Registration: Required as space is limited
Location: At the PG Museum
Age Range: 14 & above
What to Expect & Accessibility: Your admission will take you into a fun exploration of jade and how to paint it with a talented teacher who will give full class demonstrations and one-on-one attention. All supplies will be provided (though anyone is welcome to bring their own) and snacks will be available as well. Participants will also get private access to Jade Beneath the Sea to look for inspiration. You’ll leave the class knowing more about jade, watercolor and sketch technique, and come away with a beautiful work of art. This class is fully accessible for mobility, but does require holding art implements like pencils, erasers, and a paintbrush. Those who want to participate with an assistant for hand mobility are welcome to bring them with no additional admission.
