The Museum offers a unique and lovely venue for hosting events that mark every milestone and moment. Our diverse selection of spaces that you can choose will make the perfect and tailored evening for your rehearsal dinner, birthday party, bridal/baby showers, cocktail party, celebration of life, or corporate event. Following the party, guests may enjoy the main Museum at no additional cost.
Up to 15 children and their grownups (minimum 1 adult per 5 children, Maximum Capacity of children is 20, maximum capacity for our party room for children and adults is 25).

Each party is designed for 15 children and requires one adult guest per every 5 children. If you would like to add an additional 5 children for a total of 20, there is an additional $20 fee per child. Additional pizza may be purchased at-cost by parents from the company directly.

Complete registration information below and please allow up to three business days to be contacted by our Events Coordinator. You will receive a call or email confirming your request and a birthday letter to sign. (Remember to check your spam)
Your party will be reserved when the birthday letter is signed and the party is paid in full.
In case of cancellation, the Museum will refund the party cost to all parties that cancel up to two weeks prior to the scheduled party. All cancellations that are made less than five days prior to the scheduled party without rescheduling will forfeit 50% of the party cost, which will be considered a donation to the Museum.
In the event that inclement weather, illness, or other situations beyond the control of the Museum or renting party occur, you will be offered the chance to reschedule at no additional cost within three months.
Additional purchases are non-refundable. The party’s final payment for additional guests must be paid a minimum of two days before the event starts.

How old can my child be to have a birthday party at the Museum?
We host birthday parties for children turning 5 through 12. We do on occasion have parties for younger children, however it requires more staff time and potentially additional fees.My child’s school requires that I invite all children in the class to their birthday party. Can you accommodate more than 20 kids?
We completely understand that it can be tough to manage invitees for birthday parties. While we wish we could accommodate more than 20 children, safety is our number one priority, and we cannot fit more than 20 children in our space. If you’d like a much larger party for your child or someone else, you might consider booking a facility rental that you can find further up this page.
Can I come early to set up my things in the space?
Yes, parents are allowed to come up to half an hour before the party starts to get a feel for the space and set up any additional items they’ve brought.Can parents stay and join their kids at the party?
Our party room accommodates 25 people total according to fire code. We cannot always have every parent in the room, but parents are welcome to be outside the room or in the Museum during the party.Can I bring other food and drinks?
Yes, parents are welcome to bring additional food and drinks as long as nothing contains alcohol.Can we order more pizza for parents?
Additional pizza can be ordered by parents for delivery at the same time. This would be a separate transaction handled by the parents.What do kids get to take home?
Party guests get to take home their art project, the special prize they receive from the scavenger hunt, and one fossil from the fossil pit if they find one.Will I get to choose what animal comes to the party?
We believe in ethical treatment of education ambassador animals. That means that there may be some days where certain animals may by shedding, hibernating, or needing some quiet time. Species of the selected theme will be provided, but we can’t be specific about which one until the party day.Will party guests get to handle the animals?
When it is safe for the animal and the guests to do so, yes! There will be some animals that we enjoy only with our eyes, and some we get to meet by touch. To ensure the safety and comfort of all animals, we reserve the right to put animals away for only looking if handling becomes stressful. We recommend parents and adult party guests assist younger participants in calm behaviors, movements, and voices while around live animals to create the best experience possible for everyone.Can my guests explore the Museum before or after the party?
Yes! The birthday party includes free admission for all guests at any point that the Museum is open the day of the party.

Weddings utilize our entire facility including the Bird Gallery, Main Gallery, Garden, dressing room, and prep kitchen, to accommodate up to 125 guests.
