International Save the Vaquita Day

The Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Cetacean Society (ACS/MB) will join other organizations around the globe to draw attention to the most endangered cetacean on the planet - the vaquita porpoise. 

International Save the Vaquita Day will be held on July 11, 2015. At the Museum, this special day will be celebrated from 10 a.m. -3 p.m. The event will provide vital information about the vaquita and its tenuous existence in the Sea of Cortez.
