The Monterey Bay Area is home to scores of beautiful animals, from migrating shorebirds and songbirds to the familiar raccoons and deer. Join local science illustrator Erin E. Hunter for this afternoon workshop in the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History's bird and mammal collection, covering topics like bird and mammal anatomy, the differences between feathers and fur, and tips for drawing animals in proportion. The class will also touch on subjects like mixing media, how to match color, and natural history sketching.
