For the next excursion of the Junior Naturalist Club, we're headed to Point Lobos State Natural Reserve on November 17th. The club will gather near the Cypress Grove trail head at 10:00 am, and will embark on a 90-minute guided walk around the reserve at 10:15.
As we explore the park, we'll hear stories of the animals, history, and beauty of what is often referred to as the 'crown-jewel' of California's state parks. The walk will wrap-up around 11:45 am, but participants are welcome to remain in the park and continue exploring. To RSVP and receive details on vehicle entrance fees, carpooling, and parking, contact the Museum's Education Programs Manager, Nick Stong, or join the club by visiting our membership page.
