On August 21st, 2017, a total solar eclipse will sweep eastward across the western United States. Prepare for this incredible event right here at the Museum with a special booth on Saturday, August 19th, from 1-4 p.m. in our Native Plant Garden and in our Education Room.

We'll offer information on the solar eclipse, do-it-yourself instructions on how to build a pinhole camera using a push pin, safety information you should know before observing the eclipse and a host of fun activities.
