Bioblitz at Point Pinos

Join us at the Point Pinos tide pools Sunday, June 25th, from 8 a.m. to noon as The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History hosts a Bioblitz. This event will be part of Snapshot Cal Coast.
Bioblitz participants use iNaturalist to record intertidal flora and fauna. To participate, download the iNaturalist app on your smartphone or mobile device, then put on your boots and meet us at Point Pinos. Participants take pictures and make observations in iNaturalist and see observations made by other Bioblitz-ers throughout the day. Together, participants help create a record of the biodiversity in our local tide pools. Emily Gottlieb, LiMPETS Coordinator with the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, will be set up a table and Bioblitz instructions near the parking lot at Point Pinos.

Contact her at limpets@pgmuseum.org for more information.
