Lecture: Mysteries of Davidson Seamount and Sur Ridge revealed


On Thursday, November 16th, from 6-7 p.m., the Museum will host Dr. Andrew DeVogelaere, Research Coordinator for the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary (MBNMS). His lecture, "Mysteries of Davidson Seamount and Sur Ridge revealed," explores the ancient, deep-sea coral communities and other curiosities.

This lecture is part of "Sea Below the Surface," which celebrates 25 years of protecting our estuarine, nearshore, offshore, and seamount environment. DeVogelaere's lecture is part of a four-part series brought to you by the National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration and the National Marine Sanctuaries - Monterey Bay.
