Have you ever wondered how to transition from informal field sketches to more finished drawings and paintings? In this class, we will learn how to take separate sketches of plants and animals and incorporate them into complex, layered compositions. Instructor Erin E. Hunter will guide students through the process of conceptualizing a simple scene, combining multiple images, and transferring a final layout to paper for painting. Students will also learn about how to layer watercolor onto finished drawings and add finishing touches using paint and pencil. All skill levels welcome; ages 13+.
