For K-2nd Grade Teachers
The Museum provides a wide variety of free school education programs:
Museum Class Field Trips- Bring your class to the Museum for a fun, hands-on learning experience designed for Transitional Kindergarteners through 2nd graders. Our programs last 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Field trip programs are free. There is a suggested donation of $1 per student.

- Sand Crabs: Super Structures
- Steelhead: Special and Sensitive
Monarch Sanctuary Field Trips- Schedule a trip for your class out to the Pacific Grove Monarch Sanctuary. Students will have the opportunity to view monarchs, one of nature's most remarkable phenomenons, with the help of Museum educators and docents.
*Monarch Sanctuary Field Trips can be paired with any of the Museum Class Field Trips listed above.

LiMPETS Citizen Science Workshop. The Museum holds two Teacher Workshops to train teachers in how to utilize the LiMPETS program to meet Next Generation Science Standards.
