Monday Nights at the Museum

On a Monday night at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, there’s something for virtually everyone to be entertained and educated.

Visitors can enjoy the butterflies, birds and wildlife, plants, geology, and the cultural richness that make the California Central Coast so unique in the world. We have a number of exhibits ranging from plein air art to wildflowers and feature items from an extensive collection over 130 years old. From birds, baskets, pottery and textiles to heritage photographs.

The Museum, in fact, is the best place to enjoy the outside, inside.

We’re open Mondays from 3 to 7 p.m. and we invite you to bring your own food and picnic in our beautiful native garden. We also serve wine for only a $5 suggested donation. Combining the Museum with your weekly trip to the farmers’ market is the perfect pairing. Admission is free to Museum members and Monterey County residents!

So, if you’re looking for something fun to do on a Monday night, think of the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History. It’s a natural!
