Watershed Guardians is for teachers for grades 6-12, and anyone interested in volunteering to help out. In support of students performing water quality monitoring at 5 sites along the Carmel River and to increase awareness of environmental threats to steelhead trout at Garland Regional Park.
Wednesday, June 27th from 1:00- 4:00pm, or Friday, June 29th from 8:30am- 12:30pm.
CEU's: Continuing Education Units will be offered for teachers completing the workshop. They will also receive a Watershed Guardians Teacher Resource Packet containing: NGSS aligned 6-12th grade lesson plans, activity descriptions and materials, and access to lesson circles.
Snacks and beverages will be provided. Please bring lunch if planning to eat a full meal onsite.
