EXPLORING THE CENTRAL COAST:
THEN & NOW 135 YEARS OF HISTORY

2018 will mark the 135th anniversary for the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History showcasing the birds and wildlife, plants, geology, and cultural richness that make the California Central Coast unique in the world. The Museum opened in 1883 as one of America's first natural history museums. Join us Saturday, October 20th, from 6:30-9pm as we celebrate this wonderful milestone. 

This lively celebration will feature different aspects of local history over the past 135 years, Comanche Cellars, McIntyre Vineyards, Flywheel Wines, Morgan Winery and Blair Estate Wines will all pour wine, and Mad Otter Ale will add devoutly local craft beer too. Carmel Honey Company and chefs from Lugano’s Swiss Bistro, TusCA Restaurant, Beach House at Lovers Point, California Market at Pacific's Edge, Hyatt Carmel Highlands will all furnish food designed to highlight the surrounding area. DJ Hanif Wondir will man the turntables, Unlimited Events will do the decor and ShutterBooth of Monterey Bay will handle the fun photos.

Additional there will be special HONOREES announced at the event including Mayor Bill Kampe and the City of PG, Monterey Bay Aquarium, John Pearse, Judd Perry, and Vern Yadon.

This event is our main fundraiser for the year, and as a non profit we depend on our wonderful community support to continue to our work. Click here to find out more for sponsorship details.
