Have you been looking for people to talk with about what you're reading? Are you interested in learning about topics in contemporary ecology and past natural history? Join the Museum's Natural History Book Club. The club meets every other month to discuss a selected book. While free to join, the Natural History Book Club is open exclusively to Museum members, volunteers and staff. We meet in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. If you care to, bring a snack to share.

On Thursday, January 21st, the club will discuss the book, "The Invention of Nature: Alexander von Humboldt's New World," by Andrea Wulf (2015, Knopf). Copies are available for loan (and inter-library loan) at the Pacific Grove and Monterey Public Libraries, and at Harrison Memorial Library in Carmel.
If you'd like to have your own copy, please consider purchasing through Amazon Smile, and designating your support for the Museum Foundation of Pacific Grove. Books are also available for purchase at BookWorks in Pacific Grove.
