For K-2nd Grade Teachers

FIELD TRIPS

The Museum provides a wide variety of free school education programs:

Museum Class Field Trips- Bring your class to the Museum for a fun, hands-on learning experience designed for Transitional Kindergarteners through 2nd graders. Our programs last 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Field trip programs are free. There is a suggested donation of $1 per student.

  • Monarch Butterflies and Insect Adaptations
  • Sand Crabs: Super Structures
  • Steelhead: Special and Sensitive

Monarch Sanctuary Field Trips- Schedule a trip for your class out to the Pacific Grove Monarch Sanctuary. Students will have the opportunity to view monarchs, one of nature's most remarkable phenomenons, with the help of Museum educators and docents.

*Monarch Sanctuary Field Trips can be paired with any of the Museum Class Field Trips listed above.
