The collection is comprised of images from the Museum's collection, and is arranged by subject. The images were created by a variety of photographers in the 19th & 20th centuries.

The images have been scanned from photographs in the Museum's collection. In addition to these webpages, working sets of prints are organized in loose-leaf binders and are available to the public at the reference desk at the Pacific Grove Public Library and by appointment at the Museum.

Information in the annotations to the images on these webpages are derived from a number of sources, including information in the Museum's archives.
